Merchant's Room : Emily Noakes and Caroline MacDonald Winter Exhibition

A new selection of photographic scenes from two of our regular exhibitors

Even though it doesn’t feel that long ago that we were on Crail beach paddling and building sandcastles… here we are after the clock change with dark afternoons, single figure temperatures, bonfires, coloured lights and Christmas shopping lists ahead of us! Another traditional feature of winter for us in recent years has been to host an exhibition of Caroline and Emily’s photographs in our Merchant’s Room and we’re glad to welcome them back this November through until January. Their photos will brighten up your day we’re sure, especially when accompanied by something warming from our tearoom.

Merchant’s Room - admission free to tearoom customers

Emily has been out and about over the past year with her Mirrorless camera and with new lenses experimenting with different ideas mainly in gardens and parks.

Caroline has also gone back to making special trips out with her own camera to capture unusual weather phenomenon and has recently been asked to take photographs of the Shetland Sheep Society at the Royal Highland Show as her other hobby is spinning Shetland fleece.
