Fishing Past and Present (P1-P7)

Fishing has been an integral part of life in the East Neuk for centuries.

In this session, students will get up close to original fishing vessels; experience the sights and sounds of a traditional fishing community; and handle historical objects. They will investigate technological advances within the fishing industry and consider the impact that these have had on fishing techniques, the local community and the wider environment.
