Merchant's Room : Emily Noakes and Caroline MacDonald - Winter Exhibition

As the sun sets on 2022, we enjoy a review of the year in photographs by Emily Noakes and Caroline MacDonald, skillfully capturing the beauty of the East Neuk and their adventures beyond.

Emily and Caroline have been good friends since meeting at St Andrews Photographic Society in 2007 telling us that “we share similar tastes in photography especially the local scenery around the East Neuk of Fife though we both venture further afield taking photographs of our local Landscapes, Wildlife and Flora. Emily has been exhibiting at a number of events and fairs (since retiring and joining East Neuk Open Studios) and independent local exhibitions. Caroline enjoys going out in all weathers to photograph the local area showing what it looks like at different times of the year. This year we have been able to exhibit independently as well as part of The St Andrews Photographers at Pittenweem Arts Festival. We always enjoy exhibiting in the Merchants Room at the Museum which we have done for a few years now.”

This year’s winter exhibition in our Merchant’s Room runs from Wednesday 30th November until January 29th. Entry is free to WAVES Café customers and photographs are available for sale.

Please note we are closed between 22nd December and 3rd January.
